Jane will appear in the RiT&C series, but not in the next installment. According to the world timeline, it will be a few months before Claire and Jane are sent to China.
I love the use and abuse all of the gals receive. I can't wait to see what awaits Claire and Jane in China.

After RiT&C2, the focus will shift to Vicki, a character who appeared in Classmates: Claire's Tale, for a new comic created with innovative techniques. Characters from Bear's Lair will also make an appearance. Following that, we plan to use the new technique to create a sequel to Bear's Lair.
Will the white pony appear in the RiT&C 2?
KH has said that they will not. We're still a ways away before KH revisits the China arc.
In terms of timeline, White Pony does take place during the story of RiT&C2 at the Forbidden City nightclub. However, from a storytelling perspective, it is difficult to insert the relatively unrelated story of White Pony in the early stages of the narrative where a lot of space is needed to introduce the new setting.
