Missing In Shanghai
What made this story so good was that certain acts / tricks were performed on stage, different then you would see in other stories. What tricks would you have added for Sophia to perform or if there was a part 2 to add in the story? (test of balance, pony obstacle course with more toys.....)
I noticed the cover has Sophia in red high heels and nipple chains connected to the turtle but the story did not, does this mean the cover get done last? Enjoyed the different outfits that were created for this one lot of mix.
I always saw the covers of KHs comics to be scenes that happened but we just don't see it organically in the comic. I figured the cover of Missing in Shanghai was a different night then the one we saw in the comic. Different outfit and nipples are attached to the turtle like horse reigns. I love it Same with the alternative cover where Sophia is being forced to masturbate with the wooden dildos. Missing in Shanghai is probably my favorite KH cover. I personally would have really liked to see Mei-Xing string Sophia up in Shibari and give her a good flogging or put on a strap-on and fuck her from behind. Like so.

I was just pestering KH the other day about another MIS themed update to the gallery 😂. I've been told that the next few comics are going to merge Objection Overruled, Classmates, and Missing in Shanghai into one storyline. Unknown how Sophia fits into all that but I can't wait to see it.
Regarding the cover, It is not necessary to happen in the comics. You could consider it happened another time in the same scene in most cases. Usually, the cover's goal is to fit the theme of the corresponding comics.
Surrenderdorathy1, I like your concept that Sophia was used on stage more then one night. Kind of adds to the imagination when you think of it that way, what else did she do, how long has she been there. I'm in agreement with you that MIS cover is terrific, something about a turtle, a stage, and a show that is not seen anywhere but in Asia. However the gallery section is looking also very good between Backyard Garden where not one but two of them are tied together, but not to be outdone would be classmates, where Jane is kneeling with a red glittery riding crop on the soles of her feet. My favorite cover might just be in the gallery, such great work. Claire on stage with some sort of dazzling shoes and ornaments........so hard to choose.

The ring gag clip that you had above was spot on, anything that has some imagination to it really works. The Shibari scene would be good. Could not find the link but saw the scene where she is bound, stands on tip toe with one leg, the other leg is bent backwards and suspended while she gets flogged and fucked from behind. Then there is the push when he's done that causes her to have to hop to regain her footing. Ever notice there is something in the videos that when she is having to balance on her tip toes there is a push to get her to recover or a final spin if she's suspended.
I'd also like to see her have do something that reflects her new name "white pony" on stage, perhaps its prancing or treadmill like device where the audience participates in selecting various devices.

Hmm, well if i see a cover of a magazine in the store, I would expect to see more of it in the spread somewhere in the magazine. True, you could not put the cover scene in the comic, but I think that would be more of bait and switch that readers may not like. I do think your correct that the scene could have happened another time and whats in the comic fits the theme, but is not exact to the cover.
Just wondering if you did a second cover MIS 2, , which your not, as your rolling up everything into the new highly anticipated release of yet to be named (Coil Dragon), what would it have been?
