I like the drawing of Claire in her full wedding dress, as if she were looking at the viewer in profile. It's an elegant piece of clothing, something Claire from Classmates 2 would no doubt have wanted to wear to her wedding, when she still had hope and she believed her fate hadn't quite been sealed.

However, the "dress" in the last image is a morbid delight. Not only because it was humiliating for Claire to wear it in front of Leonard (her fiancé), but also because it was a reminder of her new life as a sex slave to a group of thugs in a smelly club. I also like other details that made that scene more morbid, like her headdress, the garter belt on her left leg, the fact that Claire wore her wedding ring or her pendant with the crucifix.

It's not until now that I notice that Claire always wore that crucifix pendant. I don't quite remember if, in the Classmates prequel comics, she was a devout believer or not. I find this a curious detail, which cements that Claire was a good girl in her entirety before she fell into the abyss and became what she is in the recent stories. Although her development was natural, we will miss that shy and innocent Claire.

I didn't notice it the first time, but now that I get a good look at it, I realize that this outfit is a fetish parody of the clothes American women used to wear, right? More or less, between the years 40 to 60.
